Tess Cox & Associates, LLC is a leadership coaching and consulting firm that seeks to mentor and build the leadership capacity and influence of clients as they lead their employees, teams and boards. TC&A is led by Tess Cox, Principal and a Senior Executive Leadership Coach, Consultant, Trainer and Author. With over 30 years of leadership experience, Tess maintains a focus on mindset training, effective processes of communication, decision-making capabilities, systems thinking, and building strong and trusting relationships. TC&A is also led by Chelsea Cox Gillman, who brings over 15 years of experience in hospitality management. Chelsea supports clients with leadership development through self-awareness, self-care and sustainable energy in the workplace.

Tess’ methodology in coaching, consulting and training is to guide clients through a process of reflection and consideration, along with essential tools and recourses, in order to create a strategy and blueprint for deliverables and desired outcomes for their lives and work.

She thoroughly enjoys supporting her audiences to think, to process their own learning, to use their skill sets, organize their lives effectively and to stay engaged in their relationships.

Her greatest joy is her family – Her husband, Dean; adult children, Justin and Chelsea; her daughter-in-love, Elaine and son-in-love, Max and her English chocolate lab, Bobby. 

Reading, writing, music, gardening, the ocean, vineyards, traveling, fine food/great wine, and walking her dog are her favorite past times.

In her book, The Leadership Blueprint: Becoming the Architect of your Life and Work, Tess believes that before you can lead anyone, you must first lead yourself. The Leadership Blueprint is a guidebook that helps our readers develop a blueprint that includes the 5 key components that build a successful life and career. 

 

Chelsea Cox Gillman
Leadership Coach, Consultant, Trainer & Speaker

Hi, I’m Chelsea. As a coach, consultant and team trainer for TC&A, I focus on bringing my expertise of communication, organization and strategy building to the hospitality industry. I spent a decade operating luxury & lifestyle hotels throughout Los Angeles, New York City & Nashville. It is a privilege to come alongside hotels, bars and restaurants and support them with consulting and coaching.  As a consultant, I support the building of the team from pre-opening, new operations to full service business. As a coach, I support individuals and teams to  increase their strengths in daily operations, processes and training. Also, I lead team seminars to support leadership development with the TC&A methodology. I am passionate about helping the hospitality industry create sustainable energy of best in “guest service” mindsets and practices that leads to success.  I've experienced transformational change through coaching with Tess’ methodology and I’m also blessed to call her my mother. 

I’m forever grateful for Max - my husband, best friend and biggest supporter - as well as my family on both coasts. My favorite days include the beach, yoga, meditation, delicious food, champagne and my sidekick corgi!

Ashley Prange

I’ve been happy to support TC&A over the years with expertise in marketing, social media, branding and graphic design!

I am an experienced Graphic Designer skilled in Marketing Strategy, Logo Design, Illustration, Web Design, Analytics, Search Engine Optimization and Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

Because I have extensive experience working for local non profits and remaining passionate about creating purposeful relationships and connection, I have loved being able to have a part in assisting the way connections are made between clients and TC&A; as lives are changed and people live out more meaningful careers. I live in Los Angeles National Forest with the love of my life, my husband, Jeff and three kids - Jameson, Everly, and Emerson. They make my life complete!

 

Jennifer Marek
Graphic Design & Content Creator

Jenn started her career in newspaper and magazine publishing. She discovered her love of design, marketing and brand building while working with and creating advertising campaigns for local business owners. She has spent her career working in Los Angeles, Georgia, and currently resides near the Bay Area.

She has worked with multiple companies in launching and establishing their brand - logo design, brand style guide, website design, marketing, print & online advertising, social media, videos, tradeshow displays, sales material, and intro decks.

Born and raised in the Central Valley of California she is a country girl at heart but loves to travel and explore some of the greatest cities in the world.
