A Good Story!

A GOOD STORY!

“We have to lead with our hearts. In business, as in life, we each should have an internal compass that guides our decisions, an instinctive understanding of what matters most.”

-Pour Your Heart Into It, Howard Schultz

Building RELATIONSHIPS is one of the most important aspects of who we are at TC&A. It is our “Why” we spend so much time building a safe and healthy dialogue with you within the coaching context. It is “Why” we seek to create meaningful exercises within TC&A to build your confidence in your leadership.

TC&A is intentional with our desire for you to build a relationship with you, as “You Are The Leader Of Yourself…FIRST.” As you fully know and understand more of your strengths and Leadership style, you are able to build healthy and strong relationships with your Partners, Executive Committee, Board, Colleagues, and Team. Certainly, when you “Lead Yourself…FIRST” your personal relationships benefit, as well.

TC&A is living and breathing RELATIONAL ART. We LOVE A GOOD STORY!

A good story is an enjoyable way to build self-awareness through reflection. A good story builds self-management when we understand our story in a unique way by seeing patterns that have been a part of our lives for many years. RELATIONAL ART provides so many good stories. This seminar is near and dear to our heart as our leadership and every relationship we have in the past and present begins with a good story. Every one of our relationships begins with you and a good story!

RELATIONAL ART gave us the freedom to reflect on our childhood experiences, ages 4 - 10 in regards to our 5 senses: Touch, Taste, See, Hear and Smell. Fun and meaningful memories are part of our good story, as this period of time in our lives is filled with attachment, connection, commitment and inter-dependence.

RELATIONAL ART gave us the opportunity to reflect on our favorite music that shaped us during our Jr. High and High School years. We all have favorite bands and songs that we have enjoyed since we were teenagers. Music has a way of attaching and connecting us to our good story. Whenever we hear our favorite music, we instinctively are taken back to where we were in that moment and time.

RELATIONAL ART gave us time to reflect on the mentors in our lives during our college days or mentors who came later on in our careers. It is meaningful to know that there are mentors who were committed to our personal growth and development and mentors who were dedicated to our well-being and our careers. They are part of shaping our good story.

RELATIONAL ART gave us the ability to reflect on our careers visually with pictures of a mountaintop and valley, the desert, a peaceful lake and sunset and the ocean. Most of us can relate our career experiences to these pictures. We all can identify to the highs and lows that occur in our roles and responsibilities. The pictures support our telling a good story.

RELATIONAL ART gave us the space to reflect on and focus our attention on our competency to coach and mentor others. There is always room around the table when it comes to inviting those we work to learn, grow and develop with the influence of our leadership. There are many opportunities to influence a good story when coaching and mentoring others.

RELATIONAL ART gave us the capacity to reflect on the movies in our lives that depict our life experiences, critical incidences and fork in the road decisions that we have encountered in our lives and career. We embraced what is meaningful to us when we know our own genuine self and use our true wisdom to master our own true power. A good story is always in the making…

RELATIONAL ART gave us a moment to reflect on how we care for ourselves, stay open to taking risks, dream, live expectantly and lead with our heart. Our purposeful intentions prepare us and lead our decisions every day to create a good story

*We want more for you and your Leadership. We encourage you to participate in the RELATIONAL ART learning by scheduling a one-on-one coaching Zoom call. There is always room to create and build a good story!
