Create Meaning Through Self-Care

Create Meaning Through Self-Care

At TC&A we want you to feel GOOD.

We want you to feel BETTER than you even thought possible.

We want you to sustain your ENERGY and prevent burnout, while doing the work you love and creating the life that is the most meaningful to you.

So, you may be wondering how do I achieve the “feeling GOOD and BETTER,” while sustaining my ENERGY and remain effective and productive? You may be thinking, “I have so much to do, I can’t possibly fit in another task or commit to one more thing.”

What Motivates You?

What Motivates You?

We are mindfully aware of the devastation, loss of life, loss of homes and businesses that the fires in California, Oregon and Washington have created.

We are thoughtfully aware of the difficulties that Covid-19 has brought to our lives and the way we do business.

We are considerate of the continued choices, decisions and processes that you face daily.

Motivation may be the last thing on your mind. And yet, motivation can be the very thing that gets you up in the morning, embracing a new day and setting your mind and intentions to what you can control – Your attitude and your actions.

During this time…we stand with you as you process, reflect and think about how you can STRENGTHEN YOUR MOTIVATION in and thru to the end of this year. We know it can be hard, challenging and at times, daunting…

Excited for Our New FYW Group!

Excited for Our New FYW Group!

We are excited for a new group of High School Seniors beginning the FYW program!

Our Seniors are learning “WHO” they are through the Myers Briggs Personality Assessment. They are engaged in understanding how they gain their energy, whether it is through interacting with others (extraversion) or by being more reflective and quiet (introversion). There is no right or wrong way to gain energy. It is important to understand how each student gains energy for their mental health and physical self-care.

Writing to be of service – Releasing attachment to specific outcomes

Writing to be of service – Releasing attachment to specific outcomes

We gave a month’s notice which was, in full transparency, no way deserved. We had endured months of verbal and emotional abuse thinking if … we just worked harder and smarter the owners’ thoughts, words and behaviors would adjust and change. At some point, we really believed they would be proud of the work we had set out to do and the work we had accomplished with our vast experience in the hospitality industry. We were professionals with decades of experience in hospitality and while we had made the business a success with growth and deliverables month after month – it was truly...a beautiful prison. And, we had to escape.

Writing to be of service  - YOU are Essential

Writing to be of service  - YOU are Essential

YOU are Essential

Who you are … MATTERS. Allow this simple sentence to sink in. Who you are .... MATTERS.

Within the circles I follow and engage on social media from hospitality, leadership, self-development and self-care, fitness, healthy eating and inner peace – the theme of “valuing ourselves” and taking this time to recognize what we truly value, is a consistent message.

Staying Present

Staying Present

What a “shared story” we are experiencing within the Covid-19 pandemic.

As a leader and business owner of TC&A – I never would have imagined, “Life and work would look this way…”

And yet, the journey of living and working is one where a COLLECTIVE – “WE” are ALL encountering various hardships and obstacles in both our lives and work.

Building Strong Relationships

Building Strong Relationships

We’re curious:

How are you doing in building strong relationships?  Are you being intentional in building strong relationships?  Are your relationships creating meaning in your life? On a scale of 1 – 5 (1 being low and 5 being high), how would you rate your ability to build strong relationships?

Dear August...

I know there is more for me to expand in my personal and professional Leadership. May I embrace you, August with a sense of gratitude and be willing to prepare for the things to come – the things in life, work, relationships and love that are most significant for moving forward and creating something meaningful and worthwhile.
